A Creature for Chris

This one's for my friend Chris . He went camping alone in the wilderness and encountered a mysterious creature. In Chris' words, "I shall venture back to the place where I encountered the creature that still makes me shiver when I think of the stiffness of the air as it would inhale and sigh softly, as it crept around my tent that night in the deep dark woods of the Cascade mountains…"

Chris had no visual sighting of the creature, so when he returns to the site of his encounter he plans on setting up cameras and try luring his creature back, ready to photograph it, possibly from up in a tree.

Chris is well known for his beautiful orbs, so I envision him camping with an orb resting outside his tent. Despite its frightening appearance, the creature is gentle. He's enchanted by the beauty of the orb, picks it up and disappears into the forest with it, to offer it as a love token to his beloved mate. Love exists in the strangest places…
